GCH (Grand Champion—Gold) Wandris Buttons and Bows, our delightful Gabby, traveled by plane from Birmingham, England to the United States via Amsterdam in March 2013. Gabby was the perfect passenger, riding comfortably under the seat of her new friend, registered handler Laura King. After a brief stay at Daybreak Kennels in Moline, Illinois, she joined her new family of brothers and sisters at KilbridesPride Cavaliers in Sioux Falls.
Gabby is a favorite amongst our Cavalier girls for KilbridesPride doggie sitter, Braden Bradfield. When she is at home she is at his side, doing tricks and getting into general mischief with her best buddy, Braden.
In November 2013, Gabby and Braden journeyed to Omaha to meet Laura King once again. This was the start of her very successful show career. Her actual debut occurred in January 2014 where she showed for the very first time in front of Braden and mom at the Twin Cities Cavalier Club. She had so much fun that she has begged and begged to continue showing, earning her Grand Championship status in July of 2014.
We are sincerely thankful to Ms. Alex Bubb for allowing Gabby and Sophie to leave their English nests to come and live with us in Sioux Falls at KilbridesPride Cavaliers. Alex continues to be a part of Gabby's life by conferring with mom on a regular basis.
