CH Suesitna Midnight Express
American Kennel Club (AKC), Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club (CKCSC), USA, The Kennel Club (UK)
GCH (Grand Champion) Suesitna Midnight Express, our dear Duncan, is the sweetest natured fellow that you can imagine. He is a lovely tricolor with a thick, yet easily managed coat. He has an amiable personality and gets along easily with any canine or human in the room. This Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy is the best friend to his sisters who absolutely adore him. They romp around, tumbling and tussling, all day long.
Duncan came to us from his breeder, Mrs. Beth Blackburn, who resides in Scotland, UK. He was the first of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to be imported. Our thanks go out to Penny Freberg who connected us with Ms. Debbie Kerr and Mrs. Beth Blackburn, making it possible for Duncan to come to live with us at KilbridesPride Cavaliers here in the United States.
Duncan has also had a very successful show career. He easily achieved his Champion status in the American Kennel Club (AKC) in Chicago 2011 after a relatively short show career. Currently, he is happy to be at home to be with his brothers and sisters. He is, however, excited at the possibility of completing his Grand Championship in 2014. Duncan has siblings, nieces and nephews that have had successful show careers in the US, Ireland and Scotland, his country of origin.
Duncan has sired several litters of beautiful Blenheim and tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies—all delightfully tempered. We at KilbridesPride Cavaliers look forward to additional litters sired by Duncan and hope to keep one or two of his amazing pups as members of our KilbridesPride family.
After spending several years out in Gillette, Wyoming with his other mother, Kali Spear, Duncan is back home in South Dakota. Thank you, Kali, for taking such great care of our boy! At age 12 years of age, our beautiful, sweet boy, Duncan, wanders the kitchen and family room area here in South Dakota. He is gentle with our babies and still interested in the girls! We are so very lucky to have him in our lives at his ripe old age!
